The same underlying thought was evident when Suhit Jeevan Trust an institution working in rural & tribal areas for Intellectually Disabled & Multiple Handicapped children & adults contributed towards the Chief Minister Fund COVID-19. The institution operates in Pen. Students come from 44 villages of Pen, Alibag & Uran talukas of Raigad Dist. It has done exemplary work for these Special children in the rural segment, where parents have to face many social and economic challenges. The school made a contribution of Rs 25000/- towards the CM relief fund along with a letter for the Chief Minster Hon'ble Shri Uddhav Thackeray Ji. Everyone is contributing in their way in the fight against the deadly Corona Virus. To win over the catastrophic conditions that have arisen due to the virus, funds are being gathered through the medium of Chief Ministers relief Fund for Covid-19 and Hon'ble CM has appealed to various charitable trusts, generous individuals and groups to contribute in whatever way possible for the relief fund. The CMO released an official statement for this which is as follows “In response to this appeal, it is heartwarming to see that Institutes like Suhit Jeevan Trust which work for the upliftment & welfare of these Special children have started contributing to this cause too. The trustees of Suhit have opened their hearts and expressed their feelings of gratitude by sending a letter along with the relief contribution amount. In the letter, they mentioned that the society and the Governance come forward to support us as & when we need them, therefore in the time of crisis in our State & Nation, it is our duty to repay the societies loan through this small contribution' mentioned the trustees in the letter.”
